Geo Club from Romania
Geo Club is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental, which operates mainly in Romania, locally and regionally. Our association encourages the active participation of young people in issues concerning society, regardless of their origin.
Geo Club was established by young people develop skills while volunteering in other associations older and wanted to give something back to the local communities in which they live. Its main purpose is to promote the development of education, social values and stimulate active civic participation of young people in general and in Romania in particular by:
– Encourage youth mobility and increasing the mobility of young people already are aware of its importance;
– Ensure a positive exchange of experiences between young people in order to increase intercultural awareness and general knowledge;
– Promoting cooperation between young people from different cultures and countries, mainly based on the importance of European unity;
– Stimulating cultural activities and the implementation of various national and international educational programs that meet the social values of the European Union;
– National and international collaboration with other organizations and institutions that have goals and ideals similar like Geo Club;
– Supporting our members to participate in various projects, trainings, seminars corresponding to our areas of interest;
– Implementation of seminars, workshops, conferences and various other events on themes of European participants nationally and internationally.
Geo Club is led by a young and ambitious team which is determined to change and develope young people through projects implemented in the future.
ICM Jindřichův Hradec z.s. from Czech Republic
ICM Jindřichův Hradec z.s. is a nonprofit organization founded in April 2014. The organization is a member of the Association for promoting the development of youth information centres in the Czech Republic. One of the priorities of the ICM Jindřichův Hradec,is the participation, preparation and realization of projects in the framework of the European education programme “ERASMUS +”. ICM is an accredited EVS organization.
Main activities are:
– local projects for youth ( parliament of youth, structured dialogues, active citizenship)
– International Erasmus + projects – we organise non formal educative TC and youth exchanges
– Information service for youth about Erasmus+ programs, youth opportunities in Europe, work abroad, leisure time and information about our region
SEIKLEJATE VENNASKOND from Estonia
Seiklejate Vennaskond is youth and civil society organization, which connects active adventurous people together. We work mainly with young people, but also with youth workers, trainers and teachers and organizations active in non-formal education field and life long learning. Our members have participated and organized different youth exchanges, seminars and training courses concerning equality, media impact, innovation, fight against racism & xenophobia, human rights, mobility and migration, HIV prevention, environment protection and other issues. Our volunteers gather every month to take up new ideas and think how to put them into practice. We sincerely believe that young people today can make a difference and we all work for this purpose.
Seiklejate Vennaskond has carried out training courses “I share, I care!” (2011) and “Stop Labeling Yourself!” (2012) (nominated for one of the best projects promoting intercultural learning by Estonian national agency in 2010-2012), PBA „Partnership Building Seminar in Estonia: think rural, feel global, act international!” (2012), PBA „Ten Steps from Idea To Application!” (2013) and study visit „Discover the Youth Work in South-Estonia!” (2014).
In 2013-2014 Seiklejate Vennaskond coordinated EVS project „Voices of Creativity – From Youth to Youth!” which involved 12 volunteers from Estonia, Turkey and Spain and takes place in Indonesia, Nepal and Mozambique.
In 2015 in framework Erasmus+ Seiklejate Vennaskond coordinated capacity building project in the field of youth “Use your creativity, take initiative and be the change!“. It involved a youth workers mobility which took place in January/February 2015 in Indonesia, and European Voluntary service project, which took volunteers from Estonia, Spain, Macedonia and Indonesia to Kenya, Cameroon, Indonesia and Spain to fight youth unemployment through creativity.
Seiklejate Vennaskond also coordinated (2015/2016) EVS projects „Be the Change of Tomorrow“ and „The Nature of Change“ which took Estonian volunteers to Kosovo and Portugal.
In 2015 Valgamaa Seiklejad organized youth exchange „Overcome your fears, be self-confident!“ and PõVa Seiklejad organized „Health is Wealth!“ which consisted of training course and 2 youth exchanges. In December 2015 Seiklejate Vennaskond organized partnership building activity „Be Gentle – Explore Gender!“.
In 2016 Seiklejate Vennaskond has received funding for training course „Stop Feeling Sorry, Start Acting!“ about hate speech and human rights.
Members of Seiklejate Vennaskond have taken part in several projects in programme countries, neighboring regions and also in Africa and Asia.
Seiklejate Vennaskond is one of the biggest sending organizations in Estonia.
Seiklejate Vennaskond is a sending and coordinating organization for European Voluntary Service.
Members of Seiklejate Vennaskond meet regularly to put their ideas into practice and develop new projects and activities. All activities are organized by volunteers and voluntarily. There are members all over Estonia in the organization and there are even regional grouping in 5 counties. The main age group of members is from 14 to 35 + people working with young people (without age limit). Many members come from rural/remote areas, so Seiklejate Vennaskond has also young people with fewer opportunities involved in the organization.
VDU Studentu atstovybe from Lithuania
Vytautas Magnus university Students’ association (VMU SA) was founded in 1994. It is non-profit, non-governmental organization, representing our university students. Its activity is based on publicity, self-government, equality and other democratic principles. VMU SA purpose is to represent our students, protect their rights and interests in the University and beyond, to take care of VMU students’ academic, social, cultural prosperity, promote civic awareness among the academic community , contributing to the national culture, human values and traditions and to contribute to the enhancement of VMU community intellectual capacity-building and development . The organization’s objectives is to participate in the development of effective national and VMU study systems that meet the interests of the students and ensure their rights, develop employment among students, to disseminate information about the VMU and VMU SA activities and include students in civil, liberal and democratic values . Vytautas Magnus University Students’ association as is a large organization, that for now, has about 200 VMU students who want to improve , develop, assist and help to represent students.
Ticket2Europe from Spain
Ticket2Europe is an NGO established in 2016 and based in Pontevedra, Spain. From the beginning, the aim of the organization has been to empower and support youngsters on their search for future opportunities in two different ways. On one hand, it focuses its work on spreading different types of academic and professional opportunities around Europe (scholarships, internships, job vacancies, grants, Erasmus+ projects). The target group being youngsters aged 18 to 35 years old, the organization puts special attention to the use of social media though their website http://www.ticket2europe.eu and social networks (Facebook and Twitter, mainly) to present and spread the activities. On the other hand, Ticket2Europe also manages numerous educational, training and social projects at different levels (local, regional, national and international), aiming at improving the competences (that is
to say, knowledge, skills and attitudes) of youngsters from different communities towards topics such as human rights, social inclusion, peace building, conflict resolution, youth employability, entrepreneurship and many others. The main mission of the organization is to open up new paths and possibilities for young people, always making a strong effort to contribute to the construction and development of the European identity and active citizenship.
